The Minister of Justice, Paata Salia, visited Gori to observe the construction works of the new building of the Shida Kartli Regional Archive.

Accompanied by his deputies, the Minister toured the future archival storage facilities, the reading room, and the various workspaces.

The four-story building, spanning 1840 square meters, will house approximately 340,000 documents from the municipalities of Gori, Kareli, Khashuri, and Kaspi. From 2025 onwards, the historical materials of the Shida Kartli region will be preserved in accordance with modern standards, and working conditions for employees will be significantly improved.
