The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia hosted the premiere of director Eldar Shengelaia’s short film Abdaubda at its cinema.

The film, which Shengelaia began shooting in January 2023, was completed in 2025 following the director’s passing.

Abdaubda is a musical grotesque satire filmed entirely in a single location - the circus stage. Eldar Shengelaia was also the author of the film’s concept and screenplay.

The screening was organized by “Blue Mountains”, with support from the National Film Center of Georgia and the National Archives.
